Preparing meals can become difficult when shopping, standing, chopping, or cleaning requires extra effort. A non-medical caregiver can assist with grocery organization, simple meal preparation, serving meals, and cleaning the kitchen afterward.

Whenever possible, clients can remain involved by selecting meals, washing produce, organizing ingredients, or completing other comfortable tasks. Caregivers follow the client's preferences and family instructions. FAHC does not prescribe medical diets or provide nutritional treatment.
